A graduate of Michigan in 1996, studying psychology and women’s studies, native New Yorker Ulla Johnson has created a company that reflects her insight into the female body and the transformational power that comes from dress.

Since the line’s inception, Ulla has concentrated in three solutions to great design…quality, fit, and simplicity. All of which have now become synonymous with her label.

Ulla began by assisting a number of New York based designers gaining experience in a variety of fields including design, production, and knitwear development. Entering into her fifteenth season, Ulla has seen the development of her label hit enviable growth in both retail and press presence.

Sold in boutiques in New York, Asia, and Europe, the collection’s reputation for clean, understated femininity has charmed some of the sharpest fashion critics. Ulla’s work has been featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Lucky, InStyle, The Sunday Times (UK), New York Magazine, WWD and many more.

Ulla currently lives in Brooklyn with her husband and son.
