the great. is a women’s collection presented by emily current and meritt elliott, both members of the cfda since 2012. known for their distinct worldview-a playful, nostalgic take on american classics, the great. is a fully realized expression of the designers’ evolved and inspired vision.
venturing into multiple categories and fabrications, each piece conveys a unique take on the combination of both soft and strong, a dichotomy that they have helped define: ultra-feminine silks and cotton laces play off of menswear suiting and tomboy twills. launching spring 2015, the great. is the much anticipated next chapter in emily and meritt’s creative story.
