unfortunate portrait creates drawings capturing various lifestyles, celebrities and subcultures. max, the illustrator, is born and raised in los angeles, where he draws and manufactures his tees. his designs mirror a child’s amateur style, but bear the distinct wit of the pre-y2k generation.
his designs are drawn on paper using many different techniques and then printed onto cotton tees. max’s unique take on popular culture and collaborations with celebrities have been a catalyst in driving his success.
